So the heaviest insect was discovered in New Zealand. The giant weta is three times the size of a mouse and heavier than a sparrow. I dunno about you guys but I think it's pretty darn cute.

I love Mark's photographic work. On Facebook he mentions how he finds it funny he is described as a "former park ranger" and finds it ironic how there are probably more photos of this weta on the web now than actually ones in the wild ... !
